Meet Sonya Blackwell. She is from Westminster, SC and received her training at Greenville Technical College in 2007 with a license in dental hygiene. She is married to her high school sweetheart, Kyle Blackwell, who is a financial adviser with Edward Jones Investments. She’s really proud of their 18 month-old daughter, Blaire. Faith and family are at the center of Sonya’s life. She and Kyle are members of Foothills Community Church. Sonya’s favorite thing about dentistry is the opportunity to see interesting people. “I love to make their visit enjoyable — even better than my patient expected.” In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, fitness, traveling, and couponing. She’s excited to join our team here at Family Dentistry of Seneca, and we are equally excited to welcome her. Sonya will be working with us every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
