We Are Here to Help

At Family Dentistry of Seneca, we  strive to deliver gentle, top-notch dentistry in a compassionate environment. Whether you just want to maintain your oral health or achieve that perfect smile, we welcome you to let us help you achieve your goal. Outstanding dentistry is our passion. We practice “Family Dentistry,” and we welcome the opportunity to treat you like part of ours.

We offer the latest in CAD-CAM and CEREC technology to provide high quality same-day crowns.  What once took several weeks, goupy impressions and a temporary crown now just takes a couple of hours.

We combine the latest technology with tried-and-true methods to give you the best experience with long-lasting results. We’ve carefully invested in the things that really matter–so that we can do top-notch dentistry while keeping costs right about average.

We believe that shots shouldn’t hurt, that the very young and very old are important, that our dentistry should be long-lasting, and that high quality care is the core of our practice.

Our office hours are convenient for even the busiest among us.  We offer early morning dental appointments starting at 7 AM, afternoon and evening appointments beginning as late as 6 PM, and the convenience of online scheduling.

We’ve heard that the only thing scarier than going to a dentist is going to a new dentist.  But we think you might really enjoy your next visit with your new dentist at Family Dentistry of Seneca.

We are welcoming New Patients

We know you could choose between us and one of the other really good dentists out there too. We welcome all new patients from first tooth to 100. During your first visit with us, and all subsequent visits, we aim to make you feel at home. We don’t want to overwhelm you with big words, big bills, or big corporate pressure. Instead, we invite you to settle in, make yourself at home, and enjoy your visit.

Lost or missing teeth can be an esthetic problem and make it harder to chew comfortably. When a tooth is missing, the teeth in front of, behind, and beneath tend to drift into positions that can be unsightly or inefficient for chewing.

Implants are state-of-the art, single tooth solutions for single tooth problems.

Bridges can also replace missing teeth while restoring beauty.

Partials can replace many missing teeth for patients on a tighter budget.

We use digital x-rays to gain a thorough understanding of your particular condition, to detect cavities, and to screen for bacterial abscesses.

Routine cleanings help to maintain optimal health of your teeth and gums by removing small amounts of calculus buildup that is colonized by inflammation-causing bacteria.

Porcelain veneers, crowns, and bridges restore normal tooth function and appear as good or better than your natural teeth.

Tooth Bleaching is safe, does not damage the teeth, and can take years off your appearance.

One half of adults over the age of 30 have moderate or severe periodontal disease, and over 70% of adults over 65 have periodontal disease, which affects the gums and supporting bone for the teeth and can lead to early tooth loss.

Painless oral cancer screenings and routine examinations detect chronic abscesses too.

Some people feel anxious about coming to the dentist. Dr. Murphy uses several techniques to help keep you comfortable.

Anti-Anxiety medications and Nitrous Oxide. Some people call it laughing gas. It helps calm your nerves and wears off in about 5 minutes, so it’s safe to drive after your visit.

Compassionate Care starts with Truth.  We’ll have a frank discussion about your current problems and the treatments that are available for your specific needs, while carefully considering the durability, cost, and comfort of any procedure.

Welcome to Family Dentistry of Seneca. We are happy to have you as our patient and look forward to offering you and your family the finest dental care available. We know that providing complete comprehensive dental services includes discussing all treatment and financial information.

Before treatment is performed, we will discuss treatment and financial options. We want you to fully understand your dental treatment, what to anticipate in fees, and allow you time to make the necessary financial arrangements.

Payment is due at the time services are rendered. We accept cash, checks, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.

Emergency patients, new to our practice, should expect to make a payment at the time of service.

Your insurance coverage depends on what you or your employer wishes to purchase. Benefits vary greatly based on the wide variety of policies sold to employers and patients, and it is impossible for any dental provider to know the insurance benefits of every patient. We will be happy to file your claim for you as a courtesy if you present your dental insurance wallet card and all required employer information. We will attempt to estimate what your plan may cover, but it is your responsibility to know your insurance policy rules and benefits.

If payment for services already rendered has not been paid in full within 45 days, either by you or your insurance company, the remaining balance for your treatment is considered due and must be paid by you.
